Ángel Loza
When he was eighteen and in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the "Movida madrileña" (important social movement in Madrid among young people that took place in the decade of 1980-1990) Ángel Loza started to experiment with Super 8mm, photography and video.
According to his own words: "I write because I need it, I produce because I have to and I direct because it is my passion."
He started to write as a consequence of a painful relationship; his first script is about life and death from three angles: childhood, adulthood and old age.
He wrote and produced most of his works and all of them have been recognized in different parts of the world.
Self-taught, his works give us a critical reference of society. His opinion is sharp and this sharpness is always latent.
