Death-defying tightrope walks, fire eaters, mimes, jugglers, musicians, clowns, belly dancers and a dare-devil dog — it's all in the family — The Franzini Family Circus.
Known as "The World’s Smallest Circus", The Franzini Family Circus is complete with everything you would expect in a three-ring show, performed in an intimate setting with plenty of opportunity for audience interaction. With a wealth of experience performing for corporations, USO tours, festivals, college campuses, and school and family groups, the Fabulous Franzini Circus brings the Big Top to the small stage.
After an auspicious start in their hometown of Tampa, Florida, the Franzini Family has traveled all over the world, performing as well as teaching their craft in countries like Brazil, Germany, Korea, the Philippines and Australia. Other credits include the First Canadian Mime Festival, the Festival of American Mimes, the Milwaukee Clown Festival, and the Spoleto Festival.
The Franzini Family has also appeared at the Ringling Medieval Festival as well as the Barnum and Bailey Thrill Circus. In addition, the Franzini Family was a featured act in the 1987 Circus Smirkus in Vermont where Lipi Franzini continued to help direct the Circus Smirkus shows through the 1999 season.
The Franzini Family enjoys sponsorship for their educational programs through the Hillsborough County Arts Council.
