The Agreeable Husband is a collaborative live cross-discipline arts piece based on Amy Vanderbilt's Complete Book of Etiquette. The Agreeable Husband reminisces — through dance, theater, music and media arts — about growing up with social etiquette.

Through the course of an hour, the audience is guided through becoming young adults, dating, getting married, starting a family and entertaining guests.

Ami Sallee Corley, Shana Perkins and Christopher Rutherford designed this intriguing piece featuring dancers: Katrina Asmar, Marion Baldeon, Casey Hicks, Bryn Lenny and Tina Tidwell. Jazz Musician James Crumbly conducts a live jazz combo and Bonnie Agan narrates these fantastic lessons in growing up.

To someone who lives in the generation raised by the women who were raised by Amy Vanderbilt or Emily Post or ladies of that ilk, it offers great insight into to why we turned out the way we did.
